A digital product designer with experience in digital transformation projects and e-commerce platforms. My past portfolio includes redesigning an AI startup's self-checkout solution, driving various aspects of the design process. I also have 5+ years of experience at e-commerce companies, focusing on enhancing internal processes and customer experiences.
Below are some of the projects I have worked on.
This case study was part of my work during my internship at a company specializing in AI-based self-checkout systems, mainly for restaurants. Central to my approach was a user-centric methodology, involving extensive user research through interviews and observations to understand key challenges, such as user-generated errors. I led an iterative redesign process, creating wireframes and high-fidelity interactive prototypes in Figma, constantly refining them based on user feedback. Throughout this process, I ensured alignment with the business's strategic goals to enhance the overall impact of the redesign.
This was a group project developed as part of the master’s course “User Interface Construction” at Aalto University. It involved background research for understanding and defining the problem, creating personas, task flows, wireframes and a hi-fi prototype in Figma. Although this was a group work, I was personally involved throughout the whole project, and especially the creation of hi-fi prototypes for several app screens.
This was a course project that we developed during the course “Data Driven Concept Design” at Aalto University. We worked together with a team of three, where we applied creative problem-solving methods, with different types of ideation to find innovative solutions, based on the identified potential and limitations. We also created a final service concept, for which we developed visualised prototypes of low fidelity as a group, and high fidelity individually.
This project involved applying user-centered research methods, such as conducting semi-structured interviews and distributing questionnaires, and utilizing tools to analyze and visualize the gathered data in order to identify pain points and improvement areas for an e-learning platform. Those tools included iterative data coding, affinity diagrams, defining user groups, creating user personas and task flows, and finally defining the user journey and stakeholder maps.
In this project, I designed the user interface of a course listing platform, for the Lifelong Learning Center of the University of West Attica (in Greece).
